Bio:
Julia Vera is an Ocean Economy and Digital Innovation specialist. She is the Lead Manager for Business & Strategy at Seascape Belgium, where she is thrilled to be contributing to the deployment of EDITO, the core public infrastructure of the European Digital Twin Ocean. She holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Her professional career has developed within the environmental sector, having worked as both consultant and project officer for organizations such as KPMG and Spain’s Business Council for Sustainable Development, and held management positions in public institutions such as Fundación Biodiversidad (Spanish Ministry for the Environment).

Lead Manager for Business & Strategy at Seascape Belgium. Julia is leading the development of the Blue-Cloud Roadmap to 2030 and contributing to the deployment of EDITO, the core public infrastructure of the European Digital Twin Ocean. She holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Her professional career has developed within the environmental and Blue Economy sectors, lately with a special focus on applying digital innovation to Ocean knowledge.
