Alexandre is a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich, interested in marine quantitative ecology and how environmental conditions shape plankton biogeography. He investigates the complexity of plankton diversity and its relation to key ecosystem functions at the global scale and developed CEPHALOPOD, an open access habitat modeling tool to produce high quality and standardized diversity products from the latest available plankton in-situ observations.
