Merlin Weiss is a PhD student at the Environmental Physics Group at ETH Zurich, working on biodiversity models that integrate observational, molecular, and remote sensing data to better understand responses to environmental change, especially across a coast-to-open ocean gradient. He has a background in quantitative ecology and data science, with a passion for computational statistics in R.
