Researcher at INGV and adjunct professor at the University of Bologna, where he teaches the Advanced Programming course for the Master’s degree in Science of Climate and a module on Solid and Fluid Physics for the Bachelor’s degree in Physics. PhD in Geophyisics, with main focus on seismic sources, tsunami modeling, and early warning systems. He has experience in seismic and tsunami modeling, probabilistic seismic tsunami hazard assessment, numerical modeling, and early warning system.
He collaborates within the Blue Cloud project for the development of the physics workbench and the implementation of the Ocean Heat Content Indicator.
